There is nothing worse than seeing an actor who is bursting with talent and potential get stuck on the hamster wheel and flounder in their career. This is literally what keeps me up at night. And it is the reason I created the Reboot.

If you have the chops, but you don’t have the strategy, you are playing a losing game, my friend. I want to help you.

I can’t promise your overnight results. That would be ridiculous. But what I can promise you is a completely different approach to your career, my undivided attention, and a new sense of what is possible for you.

By the end of the Reboot you will know EXACTLY what you need to be doing to raise the bar in your career. And I’ll be with you every step of the way.

I’ll level with you. The Reboot is a lot of work. It is a lot of time, energy, money, creativity, and detailed attention. If that sounds too intense, I get it. But if it sounds like just what you need and you are ready to dig in, I’m ready for you.

The PROGRAM

There are three phases to the Reboot.

Phase One: The Warm Up

JUNE 2 - JUNE 16
This is the phase during which your initial one-on-one meeting takes place. You will get yourself oriented, get your ducks in a row, and get a flow going in the Community Channel. There are daily prompts to help you start identifying exactly what you’d like to accomplish during the program and gather everything you need to set yourself up for success. You will meet your fellow Rebooters at our Pre-Party and our Kick Off Call and starting connecting with your fellow artists.

These two weeks are an easy warm up period. Super low stress and minimal homework during this time.

Phase Two: The Sprint

JUNE 17 - SEPTEMBER 8
This phase is intense. There are weekly seminars during this 12 week sprint, and it is during this time that you will be revising all of your marketing materials and digging into your craft work, in addition to your multiple private coachings and private strategy sessions. You will name your specific goals for the Reboot (and beyond) and Jen will help you to design and execute a tailor-made strategy to accomplish those goals.

Reality check: There is a lot of homework during this time. Make sure you block out time in your calendar now so that you have the space to get the work done.

Phase Three: The Home Stretch

SEPTEMBER 9 - SEPTEMBER 30
During this phase, you will tie up any loose ends and focus on your next steps. This phase is all about making sure you are set up for success once the program comes to a close. In addition to your one-on-one time with Jen, there are weekly community calls during this phase.

It is important to remember that even though this is technically the “end” of the Reboot, it is actually the beginning of the next chapter of your career. Our goal is to make sure you have a robust strategy in place for continuing your momentum and growth well beyond our four months together.

The DETAILS

    • Initial 55-minute meeting with Jen to discuss your career, your goals, your previous strategies to achieve those goals, your new ideas about what your career could look like, and preliminary ideas for what our summer together will look like. This meeting can be in-person OR remote.

    • Two 30-minute one-on-one career strategy meetings with Jen to brainstorm and innovate your approach to your career based on where you currently are and where you want to go. These meetings are remote.

    • Two 55-minute private coaching sessions with Jen to investigate your creative process, get on your feel with material, and create a reliable plan for bringing your best work into the room. These meetings can be in person or remote. (If singing in person, accompanist provided. If singing remotely, custom created accompaniment tracks provided.)

    • 30-minute private wrap up meeting with Jen during Phase Three to reflect on your work, examine your next steps, and create a plan to keep your momentum moving forward. This meeting can be in person or remote.

    • Weekly live seminars and group calls (16 total) on advancing your career with integrity and business smarts. Topics include optimizing your marketing materials, auditioning, building your professional network, navigating the industry landscape, improving your business smarts and more. These meetings are remote and always recorded in case you have to miss a live call. (You will have ongoing access to all seminar recordings after the Reboot is over.)

    • 24/7 Access to our private Reboot Community channel for community support, individual accountability, feedback on your homework, and ongoing communications with Jen between your coachings.

    • Unlimited access to Jen’s 25 years of experience and expertise.

    Hey, it’s Jen again with a few more details. At each of our career strategy sessions, I assign you homework that is specific to your needs and goals. In between our meetings, we communicate via DM in the Reboot Community Channel. You send me your work, and I give you my feedback. We go back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. For 4 months. Think of me as a creative/career coach on speed dial.

    All of the seminars and group calls are recorded. So if you have to miss one, it is super easy to catch up. But even more importantly, you will have access to the seminars even after the Reboot is over. So if you ever need to review the materials, you can.

  • Everything included in The JWS Reboot Core Program
    PLUS...

    • Three additional 20-minute strategic accelerator sessions with Jen during the Reboot. After the seminars, you might recognize some changes that you need to make in your approach to building your career. These sessions are all about unpacking your new insights and realigning your short term strategy to meet your long term goals. These sessions are remote.

    • Two 2025 Strategic Planning Sessions: These sessions takes place in the fall (between October 1 and December 31). Before these sessions, you will complete pre-work with Jen via the Reboot Community Channel. During these 30 minute strategic planning sessions, you will assess how your post-Reboot strategy is working, make necessary adjustments, and start looking ahead to 2025. These meetings can be in-person or remote.

    THE COST: +$99 per monthly payment

  • Everything included in The JWS Reboot Core Program
    PLUS...

    Stage 1: Assess the Current Book.
    One 55-minute Audition Rep Reality Check (with an accompanist) during which you and Jen will look through your entire rep book together, review your audition log, survey the current landscape. and determine what stays and purge everything else. This session can be in person or remote.

    Stage 2: Plan the Future Book.
    Two 30-minute sessions to identify the holes in your book that need to be filled after the Audition Rep Reality Check. You’ll identify priorities and create a strategic plan for getting the new material selected, learned, prepped, and coached. These meetings are remote.

    Stage 3: Find the Rep.
    This is where the real fun begins. Jen goes on the hunt for new rep to fill your 3 highest priority holes in your book. Her rep suggestions will align your book with your career goals and the current market. She will send you song ideas, and you will go back and forth (and back and forth) until you are completely satisfied with your new song selections.

    Stage 4: Prep the Rep.
    One 55-minute coaching (with an accompanist) to work out the cuts and the approach to the 3 songs you have selected from Jen’s lists. These meetings can be in-person or remote.

Heads up, the last time we ran this program, all of the spots in the program were filled well
before the cut-off date, and the folks who moved too slowly ended up on the wait list (and very sad).

  • Just a few more details to tend to so that you can make sure that you are making the most-informed decision possible.

    Two things needs to fall into place for us to move forward in The Reboot together:

    Based on the info you share on the application form, I have to assess that I am able to actually provide the help you need.

    When you fill you out the form, be as detailed and specific as you can. Long winded is great. This program is expensive. If this program is not a good fit, I’ll tell you. I will not let anyone light their money on fire.

    Our schedules need to line up.

    Initial meetings take place during the Phase One: The Warm Up (June 3 thru June 17) and must be completed by June 17. These sessions are available Monday through Saturday.

    If you are participating in the The Book Builder, your Audition Rep Reality Check - Stage 1 session must be completed by July 11.

    Strategy sessions are remote and are available on all weekdays. Daytime and evening options are available.

    The majority of in-person coaching slots during Phase Two: The Sprint (June 18-September 8) are available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Daytime and evening options are available. If these days generally do not fit in with your schedule, and you only want to do your coachings in-person, this program may not be the right fit right now. All coachings must be completed by September 8.

    Wrap up sessions during Phase Three: The Home Stretch (Sept 9 - Sept 30) are available in person during daytime hours on weekdays. Remote sessions are available during both daytime and evening hours.
